For all that you do.

My dad and I-we think alike,

He knows just what I mean

Before I even say a word

He reads, well, in between.

Sometimes he’s really busy, too

But he takes me just the same.

My dad and I-we go swimming too,

Each year and sometimes twice.

My dad-he’s really nice.

Be kind to the father,

for when they were young,

Who loved these so fondly as he?

He caught the first accents that

And joined in the innocent glee.

The generous soul of nature,

The depth of a family need,

Then God combined these qualities,

When there was nothing more to add,

He knew His masterpiece was complete,

And so, He called it … Dad

We should always love our parents.
Sometimes we are busy growing up
and we often forget theat
they’re also growing old.

To you Dad.
As Fathers Day approaches,
I find myself missing you more than usual.
If only Facebook had a link to heaven.
